Who can use the services of the Food Cupboard?
Any resident of Medfield in need of food support can shop at the Food Cupboard. We are a non-denominational organization and welcome all residents in an open and confidential setting.
How do I apply to become a client?
Please call us at (508) 359-4958 and leave a message or email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. One of our volunteers will follow-up with you and explain the registration process. We ask that shoppers complete a registration form. To complete on-line click HERE or download a paper form.
When is the Food Cupboard open?
Distributions are held two weeks per month. Households can shop two times each month. Shopping times are: Thursdays 10am to 11:30am, 4:30pm to 6:30pm and Saturdays 9:00am to 11:00am. Shopping times are pre-scheduled in order to give shoppers ample time and space to select their groceries. Please call or email us to schedule a time if you do not have an time established.
How does food delivery work?
Food deliveries to homes happen on Wednesdays between 4 – 5pm.
The Food Cupboard is regularly stocked with canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats, peanut butter, fruit juices, cereal, pasta, rice, beans and soups. We also offer fresh produce, dairy, eggs, bread, and a selection of meats. The selection varies based on availability but there is always a variety of options to select. Shoppers typically leave with enough food to make three to four additional meals a week.
