Who can use the services of the Food Cupboard?
Any resident of Medfield who meets our eligibility requirements can shop at the Food Cupboard. While we are located at the UCC, we are a non-denominational organization and welcome all residents in an open and confidential setting.
How do I apply to become a client?
Please call us at (508) 359-4958 and leave a message or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. One of our volunteers will be in touch with you and explain the application process. You can also walk into the Food Cupboard during our distribution hours and speak with our intake volunteer.
When is the Food Cupboard open?
Distribution of food is twice a month on Thursdays - during COVID there are new times.
The Food Cupboard is regularly stocked with canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats, peanut butter, fruit juices, cereal, pasta, rice, and soups. When possible we offer fresh produce, eggs, baked goods, and a selection of meats. Clients typically leave with enough food to provide three to four additional meals per week.
